Team Lead Training Systems Support

About the role

BAE Systems is seeking a Team Lead to manage and train instructional designers for Whole of Ship, Combat System, and Platform Systems training teams. The role oversees the administration, configuration, and daily operation of a suite of training applications, including TMS, LMS, authoring tools, VR and simulation technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of training system guides, work instructions and process documentation.
• Oversee instructional design activities to ensure alignment with analysis outcomes and governance standards.
• Manage system upgrades, enhancements and configuration baselines.
• Support delivery of training outputs and maintain system integrity and availability.
• Produce accurate training system data for metrics and reporting.
• Develop and apply data management plans to ensure data accuracy and auditability.
• Establish and maintain the SQEP framework for training system roles.
• Provide technical advice on systems, network infrastructure and equipment requirements.
• Travel quarterly interstate for workshops with customers and team members.

Required profile

• Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Eligibility for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) clearance.
• Experience leading training system administration and instructional design teams.
