Survey Assistant – Civil Construction

About the role

Join Shadforth’s growing civil construction team as a Survey Assistant. You will support a skilled group of surveyors on a range of projects, including subdivisions, infrastructure, community developments and roadworks throughout Bundaberg.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors in field data collection across diverse construction sites.
• Operate and maintain modern surveying equipment and company‑provided vehicles.
• Support the preparation of survey reports and documentation.
• Contribute to projects such as subdivisions, roadworks, and community infrastructure.

Required profile

• Experience in the civil construction industry is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong desire to develop a career in surveying.
• Enjoy working outdoors and be physically fit for manual tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.
• Valid car and manual driver’s licence.
