Strategic Account Manager, Enterprise

About the role

Join Square’s Account Management team as a Strategic Account Manager for Enterprise customers in Australia. You will partner with high‑value business owners, helping them maximise the value of Square’s integrated payments, software and financial services solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with enterprise‑scale merchants across diverse industries.
• Understand client needs and design tailored solutions that combine Square’s point‑of‑sale, e‑commerce, inventory, BNPL and cash‑flow tools.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing day‑to‑day support while identifying growth opportunities and negotiating mutually beneficial agreements.
• Collaborate internally with product, engineering and other teams to advocate for client requirements and drive product enhancements.
• Manage multi‑partner projects on behalf of customers, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise account management, consulting, partnerships or sales.
• Comfort presenting to senior decision‑makers such as business owners, IT, finance and operations leaders.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of coordinating multiple internal partners.
