Senior Pharmacist – Perioperative Services

About the role

The Senior Pharmacist will lead and deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for surgical and perioperative care at Alice Springs Hospital. This role oversees pharmacy operations across inpatient wards, operating theatres and pre‑anaesthetic clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate pharmacy services within surgical and perioperative settings.
• Provide clinical pharmacy support to inpatient wards, operating theatres and pre‑anaesthetic clinics.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Develop and implement medication management protocols for perioperative patients.

Required profile

• Professional level 3 pharmacist with extensive experience in clinical and perioperative pharmacy.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Registered pharmacist eligible to practice in the Northern Territory.

What we offer

• Remuneration package between $134,618 and $150,549 per year (including base salary $114,199‑$127,898).
