Senior Accountant (Advisory Focus)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our advisory‑focused accounting firm. You will work closely with leadership, manage a diverse client portfolio, and mentor junior staff while helping business owners make strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns.
• Conduct tax planning and lead strategic client discussions.
• Provide business advisory and performance‑improvement guidance.
• Manage client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Support and mentor junior accountants.
• Identify opportunities to add value beyond compliance.
• Contribute to process‑improvement and firm‑growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in public‑practice accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge of business and taxation matters.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Desire to move beyond compliance into advisory work.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• CA/CPA qualification desirable but not essential.
