Room Attendant – Luxury Beach Resort

About the role

The Room Attendant joins the Housekeeping team at Peppers Beach Club, a luxury resort in Port Douglas. You will ensure each guest room is spotless, comfortable and ready for arrival, contributing to an exceptional guest experience in a stunning beachside setting.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and wiping all surfaces.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in line with the resort’s guidelines.
• Restock and organise housekeeping trolleys with linens, amenities and cleaning supplies.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow all safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cleaning or room attendant role is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and efficient time‑management.
• Physically able to move between rooms, using stairs and pathways.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate.
