About the role

Royal Rehab Private Petersham is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its 34‑bed private rehabilitation hospital. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Develop therapeutic relationships that facilitate patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Support the hospital’s objectives, philosophy, and values.
• Contribute to individual rehabilitation plans in line with the hospital’s vision.
• Supervise Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing during care delivery.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, surgical or medical nursing.
• Effective communication skills.
• Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence‑based practice.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
