Registered Nurse – Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Peninsula Medical and Dental Clinic. You will work closely with physicians and staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced general practice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, discuss symptoms, document health history, and administer medications.
• Provide immunisations, injections, triage, wound management, chronic disease management, and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, support patients, and assist with care plans and health summaries.
• Support telehealth consultations and assist doctors with clinical procedures.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure infection control practices.
• Coordinate treatment room activities, including stock control, sterilisation, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with reception and practice management duties as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
• Experience working in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Current Police Check, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certificate, and immunisation record.
• Driving licence or photo ID.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Best Practice software (preferred).
• Ability to perform ECGs.
• Experience with immunisations and other injections.
• Competence in triage, wound management, and chronic disease management.
