Registered Nurse – Fixed‑Term Aged Care Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our not‑for‑profit aged‑care community for a maximum‑term contract from 13 June 2026 to 7 August 2027. You will lead a team of ENs and PCAs, ensuring high‑quality, compassionate care for our residents during weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound management.
• Supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs).
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with AHPRA standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review care plans.
• Participate in weekend shift handovers and on‑call duties as required.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated empathy, strong communication, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and whole‑person care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic patient record systems.
