Quarry Operator

About the role

Based at our Mount Barker quarry, the Operator works early shifts starting between 5 am and 6 am and may work up to 10 hours or more per day. The role involves operating heavy‑equipment and carrying out general labour and maintenance tasks to keep the quarry running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Operate loaders, excavators and haul trucks on a daily basis.
• Perform general labour and routine maintenance around the site.
• Use Loadrite scales to weigh loads where required.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience and a valid ticket for loaders, excavators and haul trucks.
• Ability to operate Loadrite scales (highly advantageous).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
