Project Manager – Western Power Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Ventia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction and maintenance projects across Western Power’s transmission and distribution network. You will take projects from planning through to completion, working closely with field teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, on‑time and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through delivery and closeout.
• Coordinate civil and HV/LV infrastructure works within Western Power networks.
• Lead field crews, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Monitor progress, manage variations and ensure HSEQ compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with Western Power and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Background in civil, construction, utilities or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Western Power standards and processes.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and site‑based teams.
• Solid commercial awareness (budgets, forecasting, variations).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving.
• Relevant qualification in Engineering or Construction (preferred).
