Project Manager – Capital Projects

About the role

Join a leading Australian manufacturer as a Project Manager responsible for delivering a national capital works programme across multiple sites in Victoria and New South Wales. You will oversee projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage capital projects ranging from $500K to $5M across five manufacturing sites.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules and conduct risk assessments.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and suppliers to meet project milestones.
• Monitor performance, costs, timelines and regulatory compliance.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Support commissioning activities, operator training and handover processes.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all relevant standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years delivering capital projects in manufacturing, industrial or processing environments.
• Experience managing construction, mechanical or process projects up to $10M.
• Proven contractor management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Willingness to travel interstate as required.
