Primary Teacher – Prep (Temporary, Part‑time)

About the role

Herberton State School is seeking a collaborative and adaptable teacher to deliver engaging, data‑informed learning for Prep students. The position is temporary, starting as soon as possible and running until 11 December 2026, with a part‑time option (0.2 FTE).

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that meet the diverse needs of Prep learners.
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Contribute to a safe and supportive school environment across primary and secondary campuses.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Full or provisional Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Australian working rights or a valid visa.
• Pre‑service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply, providing practicum reports, mentor statements, and an unofficial transcript.
