Night Shift Maintenance Technician – Fitter

About the role

Join PepsiCo’s manufacturing team as a Night Shift Maintenance Technician – Fitter, working on a 10:30 pm to 6:30 am schedule, Sunday to Thursday. You will ensure plant equipment runs safely and efficiently, supporting the production of iconic food and beverage brands.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor installations, commissioning, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Carry out troubleshooting, planned preventive maintenance, and fault finding.
• Update and extract data in the SAP Computerised Maintenance Management System.
• Assist in documenting and implementing improvements to maintenance methods and equipment.
• Collaborate with external contractors as required.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering qualification or trade certificate (minimum).
• Proven experience in industrial electrical work and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to work autonomously, safely under pressure, and follow systematic problem‑solving approaches.
• Flexible attitude with willingness to work overtime, attend training, and cover additional shifts.
• Food‑industry experience, steam‑system knowledge, confined‑space and EWP familiarity, and TIG welding are advantageous.
