Kubernetes Engineer – Remote (Australia)

About the role

We are looking for a true Kubernetes Engineer to design, build, secure and scale Kubernetes platforms in cloud-native environments. The role is remote within Australia and requires immediate start for candidates with Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms from the ground up.
• Integrate Kubernetes with public cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) and automate provisioning using Terraform.
• Develop and enforce Kubernetes security policies and best-practice configurations.
• Collaborate with engineering, automation and security teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability.
• Continuously improve platform performance, monitoring and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end Kubernetes solutions in large-scale enterprises.
• Strong background in at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Proven ability to work independently and drive platform evolution without relying solely on existing environments.
