IT Desktop Support Technician

About the role

Live Nation is seeking a proactive, people‑first IT Desktop Support Technician to join its APAC IT Support team in Sydney on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will provide both onsite and remote assistance to staff across the region, acting as the friendly face of IT for the Sydney office while supporting the wider APAC business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite and remote hardware and software support for Windows and macOS users, managing tickets promptly.
• Maintain the laptop fleet through proactive patching, upgrades, installations and repairs.
• Handle IT onboarding and offboarding, including Active Directory, O365 account setup and laptop provisioning.
• Support security and management tools such as Tanium, Intune, JAMF and BitLocker.
• Coach end users on best practices and promote self‑service tools.
• Contribute to regional IT projects and the broader Live Nation IT framework.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a service‑desk or desktop‑support role.
• Methodical, organised approach to ticket handling, documentation and escalations.
• Strong communication skills with non‑technical colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange and VPN.
• Collaboration tools: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom.
• Security and management platforms: Tanium, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, BitLocker.
