About the role
The Housekeeping Room Attendant joins the Housekeeping Department at Capella Sydney, delivering premium guest‑room comfort and cleanliness in a luxury heritage hotel.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain guest rooms to the highest quality standards in line with hotel policies and Forbes standards.
- Provide courteous service to internal customers and respond to guest requests promptly.
- Handle guest and internal complaints, escalating issues to supervisory staff as needed.
- Manage daily cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and according to procedures.
- Refresh guest linen each day, collect soiled linen, and keep pantry, storage cabinets, and bathrooms tidy.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar role at luxury hotels or resorts.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team‑oriented, and able to build guest relations.
- Basic spoken English.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surface care.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
