Head of Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Operations to lead end‑to‑end industrial activities for a world‑leading malt producer. Reporting to the Business Unit Executive Committee, you will oversee the full transformation process – steeping, germination and kilning – and drive safety, quality, efficiency and innovation across our global facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute manufacturing plans to meet volume and quality targets.
• Embed a continuous‑improvement culture, build business cases and deliver improvement initiatives.
• Ensure best‑in‑class manufacturing practices in partnership with head‑office experts.
• Guarantee malt quality standards and compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, Halal certification and all relevant legislation.
• Identify, justify and lead strategic CAPEX projects, managing full project life cycles with technical teams.
• Champion the group safety culture, promote CARE standards and foster a safe, accountable workplace.

• Strong leadership and strategic thinking with proven team‑building experience.

• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes in agrifood or processing industries.
