About the role
The School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) is seeking a permanent Graphic Designer to join its Communications and Marketing team from Term 3, 2026. You will create visual solutions for both print and online platforms, supporting a diverse student community across Western Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Design static graphics, page layouts, and online interfaces for educational materials.
- Produce animations and interactive elements for digital learning resources.
- Collaborate with clients, content experts, and learning media specialists to understand project requirements.
- Edit and adapt graphics to align with established style guides and design principles.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest graphic design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Provide advice to improve visual communication and support continuous product improvement.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
