Flights and Accommodation Coordinator (Full‑Time, 9‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Flights and Accommodation Coordinator to manage travel and lodging for Sodexo employees, subcontractors and service partners. The role is based at our Head Office in Balcatta and is offered on a 9‑month maximum term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate flight bookings and room rostering for site‑based employees, handling large volumes with accuracy.
• Administer travel arrangements, processing frequent changes, cancellations and emergency requests.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to missed flights or no‑shows, investigating causes and implementing cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive travel records and documentation for reporting and audit purposes.
• Provide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding travel updates and adjustments.
• Collaborate with site managers to minimise travel disruptions and associated costs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for travel booking processes, ensuring consistency with company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large volumes of travel and accommodation bookings.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with frequent last‑minute changes.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Calm and solution‑focused approach when handling urgent travel issues.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using travel booking software, specifically INX.
