Expert Teaching Fellow (Casual) - Law & Criminology

About the Position

Join a world-class institution at the forefront of legal education and research. UNSW Law & Justice is seeking highly qualified professionals to join our faculty for casual teaching engagements throughout 2026, contributing to our prestigious LLB, BCCJ, JD, and LLM programs.

Main Missions

• Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across various schools: Private & Commercial Law, Global & Public Law, and Law, Society & Criminology.
• Facilitate participatory learning environments that bridge the gap between theoretical legal frameworks and real-world justice.
• Mentor students by sharing practical insights gained from professional practice.
• Contribute to the academic excellence of the faculty through expert knowledge transfer.

Profile Required

• For LLB, JD, and LLM programs: A Master's or PhD in Law (or a relevant discipline), OR a Bachelor of Laws combined with at least 2 years of advanced professional or educational experience.
• For BCCJ programs: A Master's or PhD in Criminology, Law, or a relevant discipline, OR an equivalent Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of professional experience.
• Proven expertise in legal practice, policy-making, or judicial functions is highly regarded.
