About the role

The University of Wollongong is seeking an Executive Dean to lead its Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences. Reporting to the Provost and sitting on the Vice‑Chancellor’s senior executive team, the role provides strategic and operational leadership aligned with the university’s Vision 2035.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the faculty’s strategic plan in line with the university’s overall strategy.
• Oversee academic programmes, research initiatives, and industry collaborations across engineering and information sciences.
• Drive excellence in teaching quality, student outcomes, and research impact.
• Foster partnerships with government, industry, and international institutions.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and a high‑performing culture within the faculty.
