DevOps Engineer (Contract) – Platform & Cloud Automation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms for our clients across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The role focuses on automation, monitoring and secure delivery of applications in AWS or Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, BitBucket and pipeline‑as‑code practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible and scripting languages.
• Maintain and optimise monitoring and alerting solutions such as Dynatrace, New Relic and Grafana.
• Develop and support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure code promotion and application security tooling.
• Provide analytical consulting and discovery to improve platform reliability and performance.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in platform engineering and DevOps.
• Strong analytical and consulting skills with a focus on continuous delivery.
• Proven experience in cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and Linux‑based systems.
