About the role

Join the Tasmanian Walking Company to lead guests on the iconic Uluṟu‑Kata Tjuṯa Signature Walk. You will create unforgettable wilderness experiences, helping visitors connect deeply with the Australian landscape and its cultural heritage.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage potential hazards, applying safety procedures and equipment.
• Prepare guests with the right gear and information for the trek.
• Complete trip reports, hazard identification, and incident documentation.
• Provide engaging interpretation of flora, fauna, history and cultural significance.
• Maintain guest safety and ensure camps and lodges stay clean.
• Foster positive group dynamics and an enjoyable atmosphere.

Required profile

• Relevant bushwalking experience and strong knowledge of the national park where the walk takes place.
• Ability to interpret natural and cultural features for guests.
• Excellent customer service, communication, leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Hospitality experience, including cooking, food preparation and service.
• Current certifications in Wilderness/Remote First Aid, CPR, Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Safety.
• Light Rigid Class Driver’s Licence (desirable) and eligibility to work at Uluṟu‑Kata Tjuṯa.
