Automotive Service Technician – All Experience Levels

About the role

Join Tesla's growing Service Teams as a Service Technician, working hands‑on with world‑leading electric vehicle technology. You will deliver an impeccable service experience to Tesla customers across the Model S, Model X, Model 3 and future models.

Key responsibilities

• Execute basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on all Tesla vehicle models.
• Work independently and collaboratively to maximise service and repair efficiency.
• Provide feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement of procedures and products.
• Operate a variety of hand, power and shop tools and document repairs accurately.
• Inspect and maintain service equipment, requesting replacements as needed.
• Partner with other teams for vehicle detailing, configuration and smooth delivery to customers.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new technicians when required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Motor Mechanic or Registered Vehicle Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified motor mechanic or technician.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, parts, tools and systems including HVAC, hydraulic, brakes and electronic modules.
• Experience using diagnostic scan tools and operating scopes.
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles is a plus.
