About the role

Join the behind‑the‑scenes team at Village Roadshow Theme Parks as an Assistant Costume Distributor. You will be responsible for keeping costumes clean, repaired and ready for performers across our Gold Coast parks. This role blends laundry work, basic sewing and logistics to support a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Launder, iron and press costumes to maintain a crisp appearance.
• Perform simple sewing repairs and record any damage.
• Sort and store costumes in designated wardrobe racking systems.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and in line with company policies.
• Deliver costumes to the required locations within set timeframes.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Follow health and safety procedures, especially when handling chemicals.

Required profile

• Knowledge of health and safety requirements for laundry facilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Reliable, energetic and physically fit for manual handling tasks.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, school holidays and evenings across any Village Roadshow Theme Park property.
