About the role
We are seeking a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes social media. The role focuses on developing and executing strategies that resonate with diverse demographic groups, turning audience insight into measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily conversations and provide continuous recommendations, acting as the community’s voice.
- Create and maintain content calendars, caption banks, and trend‑jacking posts.
- Apply an out‑of‑the‑box perspective to data and research to uncover compelling consumer insights.
- Analyse comments and behaviour across different platforms to tailor community engagement.
- Translate ideas and insights into clear, persuasive presentation decks.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals.
- Familiarity with the Australian digital and social media landscape.
- “Chronically online” mindset with a native grasp of social platforms, trends, memes and cultural moments.
- Experience in community management and social listening.
- Passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI, and ability to collaborate with creative teams.
- Legal right to work in Australia (no visa sponsorship available).
