Inventory Controller

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Controller to join Airbus’s Material Management Team in Edinburgh, supporting the P‑8A programme. The role ensures smooth flow of BDS spares and repairable items, aligning procurement and repair induction activities with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage spares pipelines for BDS spares and repairable items.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve BDS‑related issues.
• Support performance reporting, KPI management and supply‑chain data analysis.
• Assist contract management for BDS and repairable items.
• Conduct component reviews, preparedness studies and procurement activities.
• Maintain high‑quality data in MILIS, SAP and related systems, including data‑purification tasks.
• Contribute to the execution of the Annual Procurement Plan (AAP) strategy and team objectives.

Required profile

• Experience managing spares pipelines and coordinating procurement or repair induction.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle AOG situations.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

• MILIS
• Defence ERP (experience in defence supply environments is a plus)
