Room Attendant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

Join the Housekeeping team at Novotel Surfers Paradise as a Room Attendant. You will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort across our 408 rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests.
• Clean and tidy guest rooms, corridors, and service areas to brand standards.
• Change bed linen, make beds, clean bathrooms and restock amenities.
• Transfer dirty linen, remove rubbish and recycling.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow manual‑handling procedures.

Required profile

• Passion for the hospitality industry and strong customer‑service mindset.
• Unlimited Australian work rights.
• Flexible availability for rotating 7‑day roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Professional personal presentation.

Required skills

• Two‑way radio operation.
• Safe chemical handling and manual‑handling techniques.
