Logistics Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Logistics Manager to lead inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and performance optimisation for a fast‑growing multi‑brand distribution business in Sydney. You will partner with internal teams and external logistics providers to ensure accurate, on‑time deliveries across retail and e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound shipments from overseas suppliers and local vendors, coordinating freight forwarders, customs brokers and suppliers.
• Oversee outbound deliveries to retailers, distributors and e‑commerce customers, tracking ETAs, clearance status and handling exceptions.
• Own daily stock monitoring, reconciliation and inventory accuracy across ERP/WMS systems.
• Coordinate cycle counts, stock takes and investigations of ageing, slow‑moving, dead stock, DOA, RMA and refurbishment flows.
• Support demand forecasting, replenishment planning and safety‑stock management with Sales and Product teams.
• Identify supply risks, stock constraints and operational bottlenecks, and improve SOPs, workflows and system processes.
• Monitor freight, warehousing and logistics costs, report on KPIs and support Finance with accruals and stock valuation.
• Manage 3PLs, couriers, warehouse partners and internal staff, driving SLA performance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, supply‑chain or distribution management.
• Proven track record in inbound/outbound logistics and inventory control.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in retail, consumer electronics, FMCG or similar distribution environments is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (Cin7 experience highly regarded).
• Solid understanding of freight, customs, Incoterms and 3PL operations.
