Full‑Time Medical Receptionist – Southern Highlands Private Hospital

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Medical Receptionist to join the team at Southern Highlands Private Hospital in Bowral. You will be the first point of contact for patients and clinicians, ensuring smooth administrative operations within our Practice Managed Suites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient records, appointments and procedures.
• Process patient invoices and receipts accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Support doctors, nurses, psychologists and other non‑clinical staff with administrative tasks.
• Maintain compliance with Ramsay Core Values and hospital policies.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service.
• Strong communication, multitasking and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working in a busy, team‑oriented healthcare environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with patient management systems – preferably Bluechip, Gentu or Mosaic.
