Theatre Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Theatre Receptionist to join our Perioperative Services team in East Melbourne. Working Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 14:30, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment within a fast‑paced surgical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑line administrative and coordination support to the peri‑operative team.
• Manage phone and in‑person enquiries, delivering excellent customer service.
• Perform data entry, financial processing and general office coordination tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards for patient information.
• Support daily operational requirements and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer‑service orientation with a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to prioritise in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
