Tax Accountant – Business Services & Advisory (Perth)

About the role

We are seeking an intermediate‑to‑senior Tax Accountant to join a well‑established Business Services & Advisory team in West Perth. You will work closely with partners and senior staff, gaining exposure to both compliance and advisory projects across a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, BAS and tax returns for companies, trusts, SMSFs, partnerships and sole traders.
• Manage PAYG summaries, instalments and workers‑comp declarations.
• Prepare journals, workpapers and review payroll & superannuation calculations.
• Assist with budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and profit estimates.
• Support business advisory tasks such as business plans, due‑diligence, M&A activities and estate planning.
• Review accounting systems and provide small‑business support.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of experience in public practice accounting, preferably with private‑client work.
• Accounting degree and CA/CPA qualification (or working towards).
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Located in Perth or willing to relocate; Australian citizen or progressed PR application.
