Supply Chain Planner – Inbound Logistics (APAC)

About the role

Join Permobil’s Supply Chain team in Seven Hills, NSW, and own the end‑to‑end inbound supply execution for the Asia‑Pacific region. You will keep products moving on time, at optimal cost, and ensure our markets receive reliable updates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound supply execution for assigned categories across APAC, balancing speed, cost and reliability.
• Maintain purchase orders and shipping schedules in SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring accurate quantities, dates and notes.
• Track shipment visibility (ETD/ETA) by coordinating with suppliers, carriers and forwarders.
• Proactively expedite orders, identify at‑risk or overdue shipments, and drive recovery actions.
• Decide on freight modes, routes and consolidation to optimise service and cost.
• Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, AWB/BL and country‑specific documentation.
• Communicate status updates and recovery plans to internal stakeholders and market teams.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives, including process automation and data‑quality projects.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Analytics or Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in inbound logistics, supply planning execution, purchasing operations or broader supply‑chain functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full PO lifecycle, from confirmation through to delivery.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk identification and resolution.
