Store Manager – Birkenhead Point

About the role

Salomon is launching a new outlet store at Birkenhead Point and is looking for an energetic Store Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations. You will be the face of the brand, driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and building a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and coach staff to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding service.
• Oversee all store functions including inventory control, visual merchandising, and daily operations.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase foot traffic, sales, and customer loyalty.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive and energetic culture.
• Manage the launch project, ensuring a smooth opening and ongoing store performance.
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and produce regular reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role in a fast‑paced retail or outlet environment.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Passion for outdoor sports and familiarity with the Salomon brand.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
