About the role
This full‑time Senior Staff Specialist position offers the chance to deliver comprehensive General Medicine services in a busy regional hospital while enjoying a coastal lifestyle in Central Queensland.
Key responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and consultative care for acute general medical admissions.
- Lead multidisciplinary team discussions and contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement.
- Teach and supervise junior medical officers.
- Participate in service development and strategic planning for the department.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent SIMG pathway.
- Demonstrated experience in General Medicine within a hospital setting.
