Senior Manager, Corporate Tax – Financial Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Corporate Tax team within the Financial Services practice. Based in Sydney (with flexibility to work from other Australian offices), you will provide forward‑thinking tax advice to leading banking, wealth, insurance and superannuation clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Australian income tax advisory and compliance services to clients in banking, capital markets, wealth & asset management, and insurance.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of financial‑services clients, ensuring high‑quality tax compliance, provisions and advisory deliverables.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team, fostering collaboration and excellence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Australian corporate income tax or fund tax, preferably in a top‑tier or mid‑tier accounting firm or corporate environment.
• Completed CA qualification or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements and influence outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
