Registered Nurse – Primary Care (Full/Part Time)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team at Vincentia Bay Medical. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a primary‑care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, discuss symptoms and document health histories.
• Administer medications and provide education on home care.
• Perform immunisations, triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, support patients and assist with care plans and shared health summaries.
• Participate in telehealth consultations and assist doctors with clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate the treatment room – stock control, sterilisation, equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection‑control practices and support reception/practice‑management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Caring, collaborative approach with a sense of urgency.
• Strong multitasking, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Current Police Check, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certificate and Immunisation record.
• Valid driver’s licence or photo ID.
