Registered Nurse (Part‑Time)

About the role

Doctors and Co. is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Ballarat Doctors team on a part‑time basis. You will work closely with physicians and practice staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a modern general practice setting.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, record health histories and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer medications, immunisations and other injections.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide support and reassurance, and assist with telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage the treatment room – stock control, sterilisation, equipment care and infection control.
• Assist with reception and practice‑management duties as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Current Police Check and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Professional, compassionate and urgent approach to patient care.
