Quality Assurance Officer – Medicolegal Reviewer

About the role

We are expanding our National Quality team and are looking for an experienced Medicolegal Quality Assurance Reviewer on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. In this position you will assess specialist medical reports to ensure they are accurate, compliant and delivered on schedule, supporting informed health and work outcome decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical reports for accuracy, clarity and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers and medical specialists to achieve high‑quality outcomes.
• Identify and resolve report issues with consultants and referrers.
• Maintain compliance with legislative and client requirements.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Meet established quality and productivity targets.

Required profile

• Strong ability to read, interpret and make critical judgement calls on medical documentation.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills to handle high report volumes.
• High emotional intelligence, motivated by improvement and testing new ideas.
• Genuine passion for delivering exemplary customer service.
• Positive attitude and growth mindset.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word.
• Ability to learn and operate Practice Manager Operating Systems.
