Procurement Specialist

About the role

Join a fast‑paced airport environment where your procurement expertise will directly influence critical operational, capital and technology outcomes. As a Procurement Specialist you will deliver end‑to‑end procurement activities while partnering closely with stakeholders and contributing to a major ERP transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end procurement activities including sourcing, tendering, evaluation and negotiation.
• Prepare high‑quality procurement documentation such as RFQs, RFTs and evaluation reports.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and develop fit‑for‑purpose procurement strategies.
• Support contract administration, including variations, extensions and performance tracking.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure value, compliance and performance.
• Monitor supplier adherence to safety, regulatory and security requirements.
• Contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system, including process design, data preparation, testing and user support.
• Assist with developing procurement templates, catalogues and reporting tools.
• Ensure all procurement activities meet governance, compliance and audit standards.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across procurement processes.

Required profile

• Proactive and commercially minded procurement professional.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing or contract administration.
• Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and contract management principles.
• Confidence analysing commercial proposals and making sound recommendations.
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with procurement or ERP systems (Infor highly regarded).
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to meet security requirements, including obtaining an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and passing an AFP check.
