About the role
Join a fast‑paced airport environment where your procurement expertise will directly influence critical operational, capital and technology outcomes. As a Procurement Specialist you will deliver end‑to‑end procurement activities while partnering closely with stakeholders and contributing to a major ERP transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver end‑to‑end procurement activities including sourcing, tendering, evaluation and negotiation.
- Prepare high‑quality procurement documentation such as RFQs, RFTs and evaluation reports.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and develop fit‑for‑purpose procurement strategies.
- Support contract administration, including variations, extensions and performance tracking.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure value, compliance and performance.
- Monitor supplier adherence to safety, regulatory and security requirements.
- Contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system, including process design, data preparation, testing and user support.
- Assist with developing procurement templates, catalogues and reporting tools.
- Ensure all procurement activities meet governance, compliance and audit standards.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across procurement processes.
Required profile
- Proactive and commercially minded procurement professional.
- Experience in procurement, purchasing or contract administration.
- Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and contract management principles.
- Confidence analysing commercial proposals and making sound recommendations.
- Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with procurement or ERP systems (Infor highly regarded).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to meet security requirements, including obtaining an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and passing an AFP check.
