Principal Engineer – Mobile

About the role

LMG is seeking a Principal Engineer – Mobile to lead the design, development, and maintenance of its mobile and tablet applications. You will provide technical leadership across a collaborative team, shaping the mobile strategy for a fast‑growing financial services platform operating in Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Guide technical decisions and set engineering standards for all mobile products.
• Mentor and lead both local and remote development teams, fostering a positive development culture.
• Design and deliver SaaS‑style, mobile‑friendly software modules for franchisees, customers, and third‑party partners.
• Refine live applications based on performance metrics and user feedback.
• Validate new product concepts through rapid prototyping.
• Own overall quality, stability, and performance of mobile software releases.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading mobile engineering teams in a complex, large‑scale environment.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality, performant solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, design, and operations stakeholders.
