Principal Consultant – Finance Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Consultant to lead finance transformation initiatives, bridging advisory and delivery to drive measurable ROI for CFOs and finance leaders. The role combines business case development, stakeholder alignment, and hands‑on implementation of automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to identify pain points, map processes using BPMN and define a costed transformation roadmap.
• Develop and present business cases (ROI/NPV) and secure stakeholder agreement on outcomes and sequencing.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery, including implementation, adoption, optimisation and measurement of results.
• Mentor project teams and contribute to practice development and commercialisation of solutions.
• Champion pragmatic automation adoption focused on outcomes rather than tools.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in transformation, consulting or operational leadership within finance.
• Proven ability to build business cases and deliver on promised outcomes.
• Strong credibility with CFO/GFC stakeholders while remaining closely involved in delivery.
• Extensive finance operations exposure combined with change leadership experience.
