Operations & Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Operations & Supply Chain Manager to own our end‑to‑end supply chain across Australia and China. Reporting directly to the founders, you will ensure product availability, control inventory levels and drive efficient purchasing and production.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast demand across online and retail channels and set optimal reorder points and quantities.
• Manage purchasing from Chinese component suppliers and local finished‑goods manufacturers, negotiate pricing and MOQs, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Plan and schedule production runs with Australian contract manufacturers, coordinate stock and component flows, and oversee retail‑ready kitting.
• Own the relationship with the 3PL warehouse, handling inbound receiving, dispatch, freight booking and exception resolution.
• Ensure retail partners receive full and timely supplies, preparing for larger accounts with compliance, labelling and pallet configuration.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct monthly stock close, keep COGS accurate and report results to leadership.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, demand planning or purchasing within beauty, personal care, FMCG or similar product businesses.
• Strong understanding of reorder points, safety stock, lead times, MOQs and forecasting.
• Proven track record managing suppliers or contract manufacturers and holding them to deadlines.
• Comfortable with 3PL and warehouse operations and inventory systems.
• Hands‑on operator willing to roll up sleeves for purchase orders, stock counts and day‑to‑day details.
• Self‑starter who works autonomously without micromanagement.
