Mechanical Engineer – Product & Systems Development

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Sunshine Coast team, working on product and systems development for demanding mining and heavy‑industry applications. This hands‑on position offers exposure to the full product lifecycle, from concept design through testing, manufacturing and field deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and analyse mechanical designs using CAD tools.
• Conduct testing, validation and performance analysis of prototypes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, manufacturing partners and end‑users to ensure buildability and reliability.
• Support supplier workflows and assist with field performance assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of product development processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and interest in real‑world operating environments.
• Willingness to grow into a senior engineering role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Experience with simulation or testing tools.
