Manager – International Tax & Transaction Services

About the role

As a Manager in International Tax and Transaction Services at EY, you will deliver tax structuring, due diligence and modelling advice to high‑profile Australian and international financial services clients. The role offers exposure to a variety of transactions, from acquisitions and disposals to IPOs and fund launches, and supports your professional growth within a hybrid work environment based in Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Advise banks, insurers, investment managers and other institutional investors on tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, restructurings, new fund formations and IPOs.
• Provide buy‑side and sell‑side tax due‑diligence, tax transaction support, structuring advice, review transaction documentation and develop tax models.
• Manage transaction timelines and deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all tasks.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in Australian tax consulting within a top‑tier accounting firm, corporate tax advisory, or legal environment.
• Strong background in inbound and outbound transactions, international tax planning, compliance, due diligence, deal structuring and post‑acquisition planning.
• Proven ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and to manage budgets, projects and teams.
• Demonstrated client‑relationship building and high‑level service delivery.
