Laundry Assistant

About the role

Join SwanCare, one of Western Australia’s leading not‑for‑profit aged care providers, as a Laundry Assistant. You will play a vital part in delivering high‑quality laundry and linen services to our residents, ensuring their personal clothing and linens are clean, well‑maintained, and safely returned each day.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, wash, fold, iron, label and return residents’ personal clothing and linen on a daily basis.
• Maintain strict personal and operational hygiene standards at all times.
• Identify and report any equipment or operational failures promptly.
• Follow infection‑control protocols and workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to safely perform manual labour, including heavy lifting and repetitive movements.
• Knowledge of fire safety, manual‑handling guidelines and WHS procedures.
• Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Permanent working rights in Australia and a current National Police Clearance.
