About the role
CHEP is seeking a Key Account Manager for the Produce sector to manage a strategic portfolio of customers across Victoria and South Australia. Based in Melbourne with a hybrid work model, you will help drive sustainable supply‑chain outcomes and grow revenue for one of the world’s most sustainable companies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with major produce customers, aligning with CHEP’s strategic goals and delivering revenue growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and internal teams to create and execute strategic account plans, focusing on cost optimisation and sustainability.
- Lead high‑level negotiations and commercial tenders to secure favourable terms for both CHEP and customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence within the portfolio.
- Conduct regular business reviews and audits, ensuring compliance with CHEP’s audit plan and accurate asset management.
- Monitor account performance metrics such as NPS and customer satisfaction, and implement improvement actions.
- Travel across Victoria and South Australia as required to support customers.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing strategic accounts in supply‑chain or produce environments.
- Strong relationship‑building, negotiation and commercial acumen.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to travel within VIC and SA and operate in a hybrid work setting.
