Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Inventory Specialist will be based in Liontown Limited’s West Perth office and will report to the Procurement Lead. This newly created position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of inventory data across the supply chain, supporting both maintenance and production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain inventory master data, stock records, reorder points, min/max levels and MRP category settings within the company ERP.
• Manage Material Requirements Planning processes, monitor queues, advise on procurement strategies and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Monitor and correct inventory master data, working closely with data owners.
• Configure, produce and distribute inventory‑related reports and dashboards, highlighting trends, discrepancies and risks.
• Coordinate cycle counts and stocktakes, investigate variances and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Partner with site warehousing, operations, maintenance and procurement teams to resolve inventory issues and maintain supply continuity.
• Ensure compliance with Liontown policies, support audit activities and contribute to inventory governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Significant experience in inventory management or supply chain functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with commercial awareness.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.
• Experience in inventory reporting and dashboard creation.
