Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will be the primary HR point of contact for our Australian operation, supporting both field and corporate teams. Based at our Brisbane headquarters, you will work closely with managers and employees to build a compliant, people‑first workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR advice and support to employees and managers across Australia.
• Handle employee relations matters, including performance management, coaching, disciplinary processes and workplace concerns.
• Coordinate full‑cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding.
• Process payroll, benefits, leave, superannuation and related changes for Australian staff.
• Administer onboarding and off‑boarding, ensuring documentation, equipment and system access are managed.
• Support the Health & Safety program, including incident reporting, investigations and return‑to‑work coordination.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and compliance reporting within HR systems.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, workplace standards and company policies.
• Partner with the global HR team to localise new HR initiatives.
• Assist with employee engagement, training activities and internal HR programs as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• CAHRI designation or progress towards it is an asset.
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist covering HR operations, payroll and recruitment.
• Experience processing payroll and managing employee benefits.
